Reliability reviews Consumer Information Evalueate is an expert in the Netherlands in informing consumers about the services of companies. We can't do it without your help as a consumer of a company! That's why we have a review system that you, as a consumer, can use to warn others about unreliable or trustworthy companies. Companies use our review system to collect and publish reviews, but you, as a consumer, can also do your part to support a company. Feedback from you as a customer is also very important to a company, and if you have a positive or negative experience, it's important that others know about it. This way, you, as a customer, get a much better feel for the company you're interested in. Reviews reveal a lot about a company's service and the performance of their products or services. Reviews have become even more crucial for companies in a world where we primarily research online. Evalueate is committed to being transparent about the operation and purpose of the review system. How to recognize Evaluate partners Companies that have claimed their brand/company with us can be recognized on our website by the Evaluate widgets, which feature our brand name/company logo, including the widget/score, and are often used in communications. Clicking this link will automatically direct you to the relevant company on our website. How we keep reviews reliable If you have purchased a product or service from a company (online), you can leave a review or share an experience on the review page. You can also be invited to do so by the company itself. Because we understand that writing a comprehensive review isn't always easy, we've built in AI support that you can easily use. Please note that this is merely a tool! It remains human work, so please read the review carefully before posting. The review often consists of a short questionnaire, which you can use to provide additional information. Evalueate makes every effort to filter out fake reviews. To achieve this, we use several AI-checked points. Suspected fake reviews are taken offline and flagged for verification. Anyone can also report a review if they suspect it's not genuine. Our specialists will then investigate further. Reviews cannot be edited or deleted by the company from which you made a purchase or used services. However, a company can respond to these, so any complaint can be resolved. Negative experiences are also displayed. The given review may then be edited, but only the customer can do this. If there is defamation or inaccurate information, the company can initiate a dispute, and we will contact you as the consumer to verify its authenticity. Evalueate can remove a review, but only if it doesn't meet our guidelines or if personal data is shared. If you use our review system and suspect this, you can report the review. Our review specialists will then investigate it further. Why can I only post one review? Customers of a product or service are allowed to write one review about their experience with a company. We do this to prevent abuse. Satisfied customers or acquaintances of a company have little or no way to manipulate the review score this way. Our systems are designed to notify us when someone attempts to leave multiple reviews. Are all those positive reviews accurate? Every company occasionally faces critical reviews or dissatisfied customers. They can respond to every review. This makes it clear to everyone how a company handles criticism and whether complaints are resolved. If you see a company that has received many reviews in a short time, it's possible they asked many customers to leave a review simultaneously. For example, consider a wine shop that just hosted a wine tasting with 30 customers and wants to know about their experience. Companies choose who they invite. Most of our companies do this on a large scale, usually without knowing in advance what a customer's experience was like. Because we operate an open system, we avoid asking only well-known and reputable customers for reviews. Not only is this unbelievable, but consumers will eventually notice it themselves. If, as a dissatisfied customer, you only read positive reviews on a company's website but are never invited to leave a review yourself, this ultimately doesn't work in our customers' favor. Therefore, ANY customer who has contacted or purchased a service can write a review. Please note: In case of doubt about defamatory or inaccurate reviews flagged by the company or AI, Evalueate will always request written proof/substantiation. How is the review score I see on the website and in a widget calculated? The review score you see in a widget is the average score left by consumers over the past 12 months. On our review pages, we publish both the average review score for the past 12 months and the total review score to provide a clear picture of the current experience with this company. The figures are calculated based on an average and are not dependent on other factors. Are there reviews on the site that have received an incentive (reward) for doing so? Our advice to companies is not to offer incentives (rewards) for reviews. Incentives include discounts (coupons), rewards, loyalty points, gifts, etc. These can be perceived as biased, and the goal is to describe a customer experience as objectively as possible. Google also has certain guidelines for using incentives in reviews. Read more about this . Despite our advice against this, we at Evalueate cannot completely rule out the possibility that companies will not offer incentives. However, according to the new legislation, companies are required to mention this when publishing these reviews.
